Any one can suggest best health insurance policy in india? Any combination is available for married couple?

please give idea about good health insurance policy in India. Any health insurance policy that covers both husband and wife in a single policy. i want coverage only for major hospitalization and accidental treatment and not day to day medical consultation?

1. LIC is the best life insurance for both you and your spouse . Its governmental but its really good .
2. Insurance in India is regulated by IRDA. All the insurance companies has to follow Indian Insurance Act. There are nearly 14 companies some are active and some are passive. The insurance business is simple. You pay the company Rs1000/- per year at a particular age and buy a policy for one year, if something happens to you, the company pays you Rs1,00,000/ or some specified amount. Coming to your point. Buy a family medical policy. Buy another policy for accidental death cover. The normal charges for accident and adbr cover is Rs100/- per lakh. But the medical policy depends upon your age and pre existing diseases. Best is ICICI LOMBARD, NEW INDIA ASSURANCE CO, NATIONAL INSURANCE, UNITED INDIA ASSURNACE, and some more private players. Buy it through a good advisor/agent, so that you receive good service, in case, if it is required.
